POOL 3

DAMIEN

Damien has a case to be the best team in the San Gabriel Valley in preseason polls. Isaiah Arriaza Isaiah Arriaza 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Damien | 2026 State CA is back at quarterback after a monster sophom*ore season. Elijah Bechtel Elijah Bechtel 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Damien | 2025 State CA is a top receiver committed to Army and Gavin Lannon is a junior to keep an eye on. Damien has a few transfers on offense in Eric Osorio Eric Osorio 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Damien | 2026 State CA (Bishop Amat), Malachi McFarland (St. John Bosco) and Travon Garrison (Mater Dei).

Gavin Williams Gavin Williams 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Damien | 2027 State CA had five interceptions as a freshman last season and is back. Caden Arellano Caden Arellano 5'11" | 215 lbs | LB Damien | 2025 State CA is a built linebacker who flies all over the field.

LEUZINGER

Linebacker Samu Moala Samu Moala 6'3" | 235 lbs | LB Leuzinger | 2026 State CA is the marquee star for Leuzinger and is being recruited by all the top colleges. Journee Tonga is a junior who had a pair of interceptions last season as a sophom*ore.

Jaere Alexander was the starting quarterback last season and is back. Maxwell Young will likely be the team’s top receiver this season.

WESTERN

Western always has top skill players and this season is no exception. Chance Thomas Chance Thomas 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Western | 2027 CA is one of the better quarterbacks in the 2027 class and I love the way the ball jumps out of his hand. Desmin Joshway-Fairley Desmin Joshway-Fairley 5'9" | 160 lbs | ATH Western | 2025 CA is one of the top senior receivers in Orange County and JJ Amezcua could also be a 1,000 yard receiver.

Malachi Alatorre is a two-way player who is just a gamer that will be all over the field. Malik Benjamin and Johannes Klein are two defensive players I’m high on for Western.

SERVITE

Servite was pretty good in this event last year and is led by Michigan State commit Leo Hannan Leo Hannan 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Servite | 2025 State CA at quarterback. San Diego State commit Quaid Carr Quaid Carr 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Servite | 2025 State CA is the running back and he can make plays out of the backfield. Devan Parker Devan Parker 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Servite | 2026 CA is a receiver I am high on for the Friars.

Saxon Churchwell is a safety who had an interception last season and is back for Servite. The Friars have some talented linebackers in Isaiah Leilua Isaiah Leilua 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Servite | 2027 State CA and Brando Mosqueda. I’m interested to see Hannan spread it around to multiple receivers and test Servite’s depth.

Leo Hannan 6'4" 213 Anaheim Servite HS is a 4*+ quarterback with a ton of talent and a great future. Good decision-maker, arm strength, good running skills and a playmaker. LA SIERRA

Eddie Roy is back at quarterback for La Sierra as well as his top two receivers CJ Fleming and Eric Mayes.

Mayes also led La Sierra’s defense with seven interceptions.

POOL 4

ST. BERNARD

St. Bernard of La Playa hasn’t fielded a varsity team since 2021.

OAKS CHRISTIAN

Oaks Christian returns to the field at Mission Viejo where its season ended in 2023. Axel Eason is a quarterback committed to UC Davis and class of 2028 QB Treyvone Towns Jr. Treyvone Towns Jr. 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB CA has been generating some buzz. Deshonne Redeaux Deshonne Redeaux 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Oaks Christian | 2026 State CA is the top class of 2026 running back who battled some injuries last season but is a dynamic playmaker. Stevie Amar Stevie Amar 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE Oaks Christian | 2025 State CA is a quality receiver and Brayden Hampsten is 6-foot-6. Weston Schwesinger Weston Schwesinger 5'8" | 140 lbs | WR Oaks Christian | 2025 CA played well in his chances last year at receiver as well.

The Lions have great linebackers in Christian Knoos Christian Knoos 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Oaks Christian | 2025 State CA and Evan Fanner. Davon Benjamin Davon Benjamin 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Oaks Christian | 2026 State CA is one of the best defensive backs in the 2026 class and Jamarey Smith Jamarey Smith 6'3" | 180 lbs | ATH Oaks Christian | 2025 CA recently committed to Washington State. Nathan Moreno Nathan Moreno 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR Oaks Christian | 2025 CA is another two-way guy with potential.

APPLE VALLEY

Apple Valley has some quality offensive linemen who appeared at the National Preps Showcase but their skill players are somewhat of a mystery. Dominic Bechtel is a big tight end and Dylan Jarrard is an athlete who may play quarterback this season.

Talan Lively is returning on defense for Apple Valley and Vohn Taylor is an intriguing sophom*ore.

MURRIETA VALLEY

Murrieta Valley has a prolific offense led by Stanford commit Bear Bachmeier Bear Bachmeier 6'2" | 225 lbs | QB Murrieta Valley | 2025 State CA at quarterback. Dorian Hoze Dorian Hoze 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB Murrieta Valley | 2025 CA is back at running back and he can make plays in the passing game as well. Julian Treadwell and Derrick Johnson are talented junior receivers and they also have a pair of senior receivers in Camden Connor and Brandon Gilbert Brandon Gilbert 6'4" | 225 lbs | TE Murrieta Valley | 2025 State CA . Murrieta Valley also added Chaparral transfer tight end Jacob Alvarez Jacob Alvarez 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE Chaparral | 2025 State CA who recently committed to San Diego State.

Troy Karg is a linebacker who leads the defense. Johnson led the team in interceptions as a sophom*ore last season and Isaiah Ayers Isaiah Ayers 5'9" | 185 lbs | ATH Murrieta Valley | 2025 State CA also had a pair of picks. Darius Johnson Darius Johnson 6'2" | 160 lbs | DB Murrieta Valley | 2027 CA got meaningful playing time as a freshman and is back.

LA MIRADA

La Mirada had a rebuilding season last year and lefty Santino Garcia is back at quarterback for his junior season. Isaiah Robbins is a quality receiver who is back along with juniors Jordan Lauago and Aaron Castro.

Lauago also had two interceptions for La Mirada last season.
